Much of our workforce will be coming from groups of graduating seniors. As reported in the February 2023 issue of Alaska Economic Trends, here are the top three jobs in 2021 for 2005 Alaska high school graduates, broken down by education :
College Graduates:
- Health care diagnosing or treating practitioners
- Teachers (preschool, elementary, middle, secondary and special education teachers)
- Engineers
Some College:
- Construction trade workers
- Office/administrative
- Information and record clerks
No College:
- Construction trade workers
- Retail sales workers
- Material moving workers
