HEDC researched the most recent data on the impact of the Marine Highway on Haines and put some of the highlights together in this easy to reference infographic. There is more detailed data available in the 2018 Baseline Data Report as well. Much of the data from McDowell Group’s 2016 “The Economic Impacts of the Alaska Marine Highway System” is still current, but we researched some updated information, such as current employment numbers and capital expenditures.
