Haines Economic Development Corp. is a nonprofit corporation with a mission to realize economic development in Haines Borough through research, community engagement, and strategic planning.

What we’re working on

As part of our working agreement with the Haines Borough, HEDC has focused on coordinating two important studies in 2018; a Haines Baseline Economic Data Report and a Five-year Economic Development Plan for Haines. Both projects are now complete and published. The HEDC board chose to work with McDowell Group to conduct these studies. Read more about these projects and how to be involved.
